I think it's him because of the clothes (body) and shoes... at least, and hope, that guy helps Chani realize he has feelings for Seokjun and makes him jealous. Some kind of plot device.

I’m a little disappointed in the new character.
I thought he’s a much more decent character. He’s nothing better, in fact he’s worse than Chanichani (yep. Another btm). Feel bad for Seokjun tho
