For me, there is nothing wrong with being inspired by another work as long as, it is beautifully well made and had interesting twists, being formed into another story to read. This is one of them.

Well I don't owe anything to the writer. Neither do you. I am free to critically engage with the story. What's the fun in being blind just because of a little titillation it serves? Bro im so glad to see someone on here with a sensible take. Im not bothered by the cliches and overdone tropes myself, I’ll bite. But the writing is just so bad? I forced myself through almost 20 chapters and I just don’t care about the characters. MC is boring, ML is unlikeable, plot—I’ll give it that it actually puts in the barest minimum effort with setting up 7 themed dungeons to progress though with MC trauma/ML plotting, compared to most BL that are actually brain dead rape romances, but I have no clue how people can act like this is decent??? This is a 3-4/10 at best, unless you are incapable of critically thinking or this is your first time reading a story that fails, but tries to be a little better than the rest.
