There is plot and I dont expect this to be some masterpiece. There doesnt need to be elaborate set up
Lol, one goon at a time sums it up well. I mean, it's the same old same old, rich dude digs up all the information about some indebted dude, rich dude is a bit eccentric and mentally ill, indebted MC is rough around the edges and has his baggage (at least better than the abused, mellow twink trope), blabla.
Goon hits so much better when it happens within a good plot imo. It doesn't have to be elaborate even, just somewhat organic. Authors just put drama and coincidences + unlimited recourses of the MLs into their stories like I put parmesan on pasta.
Kinda disagree somewhat with goon hitting better with good plot, its the art thats important. Good art carries mediocre plotlines and a lot of the commenters are drooling over these two and not putting much thought into anything else. The smuts good tho because both are muscular masculine looking guys
Art style is very important, that's true, but it doesn't hit the same (for me) when the plot is also shit or mediocre (it's like when a very hot person opens their mouth and it's just bullshit or cringe stuff coming out, and then their conventionally attractive looks become irrelevant in the face of their cringe personality ). I mean, many readers don't have high expectations ig and hot enough sex scenes outshine the shit plot, reading manhwa like this is basically like eating fast food. It has its time and place, I enjoy it myself when I want to switch my brain off and enjoy hot sex, but then again, when I sit there, I realize it's just pure nothing packaged in pretty art and two very stylized bodies fucking covered in bodily fluids. I think readers should definitely have higher expectations. I mean, we have stuff like God's Peace...

So I left this to marinate in my want to read list as one does, and I already dislike the beginning of the story. Yeah, what a coincidence the anonymous dude you listen to works as a waiter at the party you attend as an actor superstar... Oh and look, he also kissed you and dared you to get your dick up lol.
I know stuff like this happens (when the stars align just right), but the plot and the meeting of the protagonists seems so artificial and forced, especially the fact Yujin just fucks a celeb out in the open in the bathroom, not even trying to hide in a stall, and Aaron is like yup, the mole behind the ear, this is my guy. C'mon, so lazy. No build up, not even laying out the plot for them to meet up in like the first three chapters or so. It reads as a porn plot, and I know, from the pictures I've seen, it's the ultimate goon material, but at least when you write 50+ chapters as an author, you're trying to say something, to build some story... Not use the story as canvas to draw men fucking. For this, there's one shot or short goon stories with no more than 5 chapters. Or don't try and pretend to write plot, just make em fuck and don't bother with the back stories and attempting any depth lmao
