I mean, that's why it's called a ship, most ships aren't canon or even realistic. I think the idea of the mc actually dating an omega than an alpha cool, and rishar is a character with less personality than a mosquito, antoine actually has struggles and he could understand what etienne went through perfectly if the truth was told, after all they both has suffered for being omegas, plus antoine is very kind to etienne since his first appearance and actually liked him in the novel. I guess it's pretty valid ship them
