Its one of those stories where if you cant really pay attention to the plot you immediately stop understanding.. and it doesnt help that the smut scenes last for like 3 chapters. Took male 5 reads to get the hang of it

Yess because everyone else in the comments at the time highly recommended a reread and just ignore the smut scenes if you want to understand it more. Before that i only reread twice thinking i was the delusional one for not understanding. but I totally get why you dont want to reread it.
