[SPOILER WARNING] WHAT THE HELL I JUST CHECKED THE COMMENTS AND SO MANY HATE SEOYOON? I ACTUALLY LIKE HER . Despite her being weak, she tried her best to be involved and was the only person who truly cared for Yeonsu/Yeowoon when others doubted and ostracized him. She was so sincere in trying to be useful and had to fake cry to the soldiers. If not for her tbh, he would have been dead, become a monster, or given up. Her presence shows a moment of his weakness and it showed Yeonsu's human feelings or a side of humanity that he still cares and she's still special to him despite her betrayal. Imagine if no one was able to text him the whole time he was going through a lot. Of all the people who wanted to chase after him, she was the only one who he responded to, not wanting his father to know. He trusted her enough to keep it a secret. Aside from his care for Iseul and his parents, her existence brings out a side of him that others couldn't have. Look at how he reacts and how he's attentive to her when girlie is in danger. Plus girlie was honest and opened up with Iseul of how she felt. Even if people say she was useless, not physically strong or what, her character still played a significant role to Yeonsu's life, whether be it emotionally or psychologically too. I don't get how many people hate her for what, being useless? There are more characters with more hateful and irritating personalities than hers who have forsaken, talked behind, and treated Seonyu horribly . You cant even compare her to Iseul who was two-faced and a liar, who only wanted to use Seonyu whenever its convenient, then leaves the moment he's conceived as a monster by classmates.

We lost almost everyone and their deaths were so devastating. I really hate Iseul in the early half she's such a bitch but I'm glad she's more tame now. Props to Seoyoon for talking back at her since they both made the same mistakes of leaving Yeonsu anyway. Girl had to chase Yeonsu to the ends of the earth to make up with her regret of abandoning him. What a goat. Yeonsu has a good taste of who to like haha. I really miss Choi Daehan and I wish he didn't die. Plus his girl's death was so unexpected too we didn't have much of a moment for her (although we already got prepped to her first fake one). He's a hateful person but they were able to show how he's just a human to feel things and why he became that way. He hated Yeonsu but at the same time he's aware and acknowledges too that it's not really entirely his fault, and Yeonsu also saved him a lot of times. I hate how the pages are chopped and so the scenes get skipped, I would be confused what just happened especially to the important intense scenes it just suddenly concluded and passed to the next scene. It's also sad to think that there were a lot of students in their class but now there are just a few of them. The fact that you're close with all of them and know them, then one day, you only know a few of them now. It makes you lonely. I love the reminiscing part of Yeonsu of how they just wanted to enjoy their field trip, showing their innocence. Yeonsu grew a lot from his experience, he truly went through a lot, and it amazes me how he still stayed through with his morals and took responsibility to step up. His once small body now have this bigger build, carrying a lot of lives and a lot burden. It looks so dependable, compared to his first appearance looking like a whimp. I can't even recognize him as Yeonsu anymore. Still, even if a little bit, I can still feel his vulnerable side. Some moments of weakness and human feelings were still shown. He had such great parents with how they brought him up, they also never hated nor fear him. Mister Ha Hi Man's side-story chapter at least softened my frustration with his dream of saving everyone even if it didn't truly happened. Although rushed, it was such a good ending, best ending we could ever hope to have. It's sad, but it went the right way. I hope I get to hear some news if the author ever continues this again. The chapters were long, and a lot of action but most of the characters were likable and there wasn't a boring moment. This made me feel like I went through a lot with them as a reader.
