It's actually worse. Pretty sure the age gap is around 13-15 years at least. Xinlu is in his early twenties right now, while Yuri is in his late thirties.
Which does make the fact, that Yuri fell for him at first sight (when Xinlu was a small child) a bit weird even if Yuri didn't have any sexual thoughts or desires about him. Still strange for someone that much older to be so enamored by the beauty of a literal child.
Novel says that when xinlu was 12, he was 25 so 12-13 age gap
