Well in one of the translations he called him puppers and honestly I like that better than boy...it sounds....werid
If im being honest, in the official korean version, it literally said “puppy” so I don’t know why the official english translation put it as boy( yuck)
But yeah, puppers is fine tbh. Its still a cute nickname but boy? Ur right , super weird （/TДT)/
I get were you're coming from but I personally loved the fact that he kept calling him boy simply because the lil kinky gay man in me saw my community accidentally represented. Its actually a common thing for a lot of gay men to call their partner "boy" if he's the younger one and is even a sign of endearment or respect depending on the dynamic/scene the couple is in. Obviously not what's going on here and im sure the translators had their reasons for keeping the "boy" nickname even after heeseoug started to keep human form more often, but the fact that they kept it mixed with how their relationship worked throughout the series reminded me so much of a Sir/boy or Sir/pup dynamic and i just loved it. (And im not saying you cant find the nickname weird. If i wasn't in those spaces i probably would too. Just thought it would be fun to share a much different perspective)
But got bashed by some random loser. Now u understand why i said, i prefer them translated “baby/honey/puppy” instead of boy? Like its sooo odd, i know he’s a dog but damn, translated it as boy jst so turn off.
Also when are we gonna see the twin babiessss and chi young upset coz he’s not the one getting preggy
