I specifically state that I know betrayal is all he knows but that I wish he would stop anyways. It's very obvious that he doesn't know any better and is just doing the only thing he knows. He is a product of his upbringing and he was never given a chance to be anything else... But that doesn't mean I can't wish he could do better and be better.

Hawon had every reason to run away, he knew he’s jumping from one bad guy to another, it’s not like he had anyone trustworthy either anyway. The difference is that Aeil never meddled with hawon’s life whereas taeha on the other deliberately planned all of hawon’s suffering, his father’s plans of protecting hawon (even in his death) backfired bc of taeha, he didn’t even need the wikileaks he already has them and was just using it to keep hawon while he pretends to not have it. You can’t blame hawon for running away from the closest monster next to him, hawon has always lived by surviving and for himself, if the next monster he went to would’ve been someone taeha can’t easily touch then alright, okay he did that, hawon would have been easily captured anyway even if he ran away back to his old life bc taeha is not letting him go. He doesn’t care about what taeha feels bc he’s the reason for all of the things he went through up until now, good on hawon for running away bc that shows that he still had some of his pride and wits with him, although that’s also starting to deteriorate now at the current chapters but taeha is still being an asshole, you can’t just ignore that he’s been hawon’s biggest enemy and main reason for all the decisions he made and backfired

How could hawon even improve in his situation when he’s constantly has someone to keep him in shackles even before he realized it. You just immediately assume ppl are against personal growth when uou don’t see even see the situation in the other perspective it’s always and was never easy to get away from a terrible situation and improve in like a snap of a finger bc of many factors one of which is the mental why do you think domestic victims takes at least 7 times before they truly get out of their situation, it’s bc they’re scared and it’s not easy to move around when you’re always in fear for your life. Hawon triggered a flight response it’s why he ran away bc taeha is his closest form of danger and his closest abuser, hawon was smart for running away immediately the moment he found one even if it was flawed, his choice was still ultimately the lesser evil only by the amount of wrongs done by aeil compare to taeha. You should be the one who needs to check themselves out bc you stink of victim-blaming. Hawon has and always thrived for getting out of his shitty situation and improving his life it’s just his luck that he got mountains front and back that pushes him farther from his goal.
