I think it's a plothole. Idk what the author intend as well like the character is confusing and the plot too. One thing his character like this then the next thing it becomes like that. Like how can you be calling your past self "your brother" and to be jealous of your past self getting closer to his dad too like this story has too many plotholes that doesn't makes sense
???? you're HEALTHY AND IN GOOD SHAPE, why was that scene so clunky??? YOU yourself can make runes when it's fun and games but when actual fighting comes you're hella ass?? IT'S A HIGH PRESSURE TIME BUT YOU'RE HERE CONTEMPLATING WHETHER OR NOT YOU'LL BE A BROTHER FOR THE KID??? WHAT. i thought you said that you were strong??? why did you perform well in fights that isn't as reliant on you winning but when you're facing someone YOU'VE BEEN WARNED ABT BTW?? YOU'RE SO LOST AND SLOW???
i get that this is supposed to be an emotional scene and stuff but it genuinely infuriates me when a character WHO'S BEEN HIGHLY COMMENDABLE, reacts slowly and illogically when it's pretty easy to think how to act BECAUSE AGAIN, THEY WERE BOTH WARNED ABT SAM.
(i love the story guys, this is a genuine confusion)
