I really liked the story if I’m honest. It has an interesting plot and it captivated my attention so easily compared to a few other reads lately. Rayne is an interesting character and I honestly find the ML cute in several occasions- his attachment to her, his fear to hurt her, but the way he loves her is really good. And the way Rayne loves him back is sweet as well. I’d put a little minus to the story though, because some plot points are dealt with too fast (the queen for example) or forgotten (Marchmond, Rayne going berserk??) Overall still a very pleasant read. 4/5 I think
