It's not about forgiving, it's about understanding.
No one is excusing his actions nor forgiving him. We are just seeing his reasons and seeing WHY he became the way he did. He truly is broken and once had a good heart and soul.
He's an evil ruler with selfish intentions, yes, we can see why. Doesn't make it okay. We sympathize, but a wrong is a wrong. The acts he's commited is nothing but wrong.
My only problem with people is people loving and forgiving black flags like Ceasar and Zhenya. When these two are just as bad if not worse to their lover, and have only gone through not even half of what Chan Geon has gone through, yet have a problem with Chan Geon.
