Spoilers!!
In the novel, uke and seme new each other when they were in school im pretty sure, seme looked up the uke quite a bit but the uke at the time treates seme harshly and like rated the seme and like this really affects the semes life at the time, uke gets into an accident and forgets what happened, seme finds out and then basically does what he can to become strong and get his revenge on the seme
Juyeon has always been obsessed with Jiwook since high school; he 'took revenge' more to possess Jiwook than for revenge. He acknowledges this at the end of the story, and indeed throughout the story: breaking Jiwook, making him emotionally and physically dependent on him, and ultimately possessing him by any means necessary is his primary objective.
If Jiwook hadn't forgotten him, Juyeon surely wouldn't have sought revenge. He wants to exist in his eyes and be the only one who matters, and he's doing this under the guise of revenge. We see it throughout the novel; I don't know how the manhwa will evolve, but I think Geumsan is doing a good job of conveying Juyeon's emotions for Jiwook through a few details.

There is no difference between both of them rather the present rapist is rather few steps ahead than the one getting raped...
I mean this guy is raping his rapist to the point of getting obsessed with him. Sadly when that happens your potential normal life will end.
