Their chemistry is just not it. One is such a pushover and one is a violent person with an inferiority complex who hates the other one.
It's just so toxic. The alpha sexual assaulted the omega and also doesn't really care about his consent that much. On the other hand, that omega hates the alpha just because of his insecurity of being an omega which is unjustifiable because it isn't his fault and he's always physically violent towards the alpha.
I was expecting some heartwarming shit.

It’s implied the alpha being a dominant caused the omega to present as an omega. Don’t forget released his pheromones in the prelude chapter when he was being bullied by the other kids. The omega isn’t simply feeling inferior he literally has reason to be angry is life his life has been controlled by the alpha’s obsession with him and has had real effects on his very autonomy.
