I mean, Seo Sam educated him, made him learn humility and kindness, and he looked like he learned. So i dont think he is crazy, he is just straight up evil and just now has to power to show it (being king). Seeing how much his hyung treated him well and go back to early chapter seeing him r4p3 him while he was unconscious and torture/kill people who showed Seo Sam kindness because of jealousy...
