Is everyone missing the point?

Hyesung isn't apologizing about keeping Byul from his grandmom, he's apologizing about himself abandoning Byul when he was a baby.

And I don't see what has all you people surprised when this is literally the 2nd time the author has done this. It was the exact same scenario when Hyesung's best friend showed their daughter to the mom's (I forgot all of their names) mom.

It's a difficult for a child to understand and agree with conflict no one actually explained to them so Byul seeking out his grandma and liking her isn't weird, especially since she's only been kind to him. There's also some hint at rebellion from Byul so I'd say it's all normal teenage behaviour.

As for Dojin, if this is the most shocking thing he has done for you since the beginning of Love is an illusion, you should be re checking your priorities.
