I’ve read dozens of villainess, tyrant husband historical fantasy tropeslop stuff but I just realized this is only the second one I can remember where they’ve acknowledged the existence of a period. And the first is just a vague memory of a mistress failing to get pregnant (of which I literally might just be thinking of handmaid’s tale). I guess writers just don’t wanna think about medieval and renaissance vaginal blood collection methods. That makes one of us.
edit: slowest start ever but hold up is this writing kinda fire
