It kinda feels bad how one-sided the communication efforts were on Shuuna's side like why was he the ONLY one willing to talk about issues with Hayashida? Where was that effort on Hayashida's side? He is way more understanding than anyone would've been because wdym you STILL had your ex's photos hung on your wall with zero fucking explanation?
Sure, the audience knows about Hayashida's past but Shuuna doesn't. Genuinely amazing that he decided to stick around for that long when Hayashida was being that cryptic. This manga should've shown Hayashida putting wayyyy more effort into his current relationship considering what he had done to his previous partner but there was barely any effort from his side. He should've been the one to chase after Hayashida after the last conflict. But of course Shuuna chases after Hayashida again.
