This girl is an absolute pushover. Her ‘boyfriend’ cut contact with her for 10 years, then came back as if nothing had happened, with absolutely no explanation, and the guy still acts like someone crapped in his shoes. He had TEN years to decide whether he wanted to be with her or not, and the only conclusion he reached is that he’s afraid of her??? DUDE? But of course the FL doesn’t mess around when it comes to Dohwa, who’s the only one actually communicating with her

Exactly it's so CRINGE to see her act righteous when she is clearly biased

Hate to break it to you but it’s not how it works. You guys reading the story are the biased ones. You make it all about Sooae when actually, if you really looked at it, Dohwa is actually coming off as the pushover here. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love them both but cmon. It’s obvious the girl doesn’t want him and he still acts like that. In my opinion he’s the one that should grow a back bone and actually start looking somewhere else. Sooae shouldn’t be forced to be with a guy she’s not interested in cause he likes her. Have you guys never had someone crushing on you who you didn’t like back?????? I don’t think no one would force you to be with them. What you’re asking of Sooae is the same thing that would be labelled as forced in the real world fyi. Plus, I believe Eunhyuk had his reasons (like Beom-jin in ‘Just Twilight’ if you guys read it) but all of a sudden, just because he didn’t explain himself yet (FOR OBVIOUS PLOT RELATED REASONS) y’all are making it such a big deal.

Of course she doesn’t have to like him. In my opinion, she shouldn’t be with any of them. I didn’t write this to imply that Soae should be with Dohwa, but rather that she behaves like a pushover with no self-respect when it comes to Eunhyuk, while at the same time she’s perfectly capable of not giving a damn with Dohwa. I’m sorry, but I couldn’t care less about someone’s reasons for cutting contact for 10 years, yet somehow keeping in touch with her screwed-up sister? And instead of telling Soae what Jihun said about her, of course he had to butt in himself, taking away her chance to react, which ultimately made it look like she got thrown under the bus. The guy is a walking red flag. How old are they now, 30? Over 30? And the man still doesn’t know what he wants? I can’t imagine living with someone so emotionally unstable. What if Soae and Eunhyuk end up together, get married, have kids, and he disappears again without a word? He’s not even friend material, let alone partner material.

Oh come on, now you’re just blowing it out of proportion. We all know he could be related to the jelly pop mess and probably that’s going to be his reason for disappearing. There’s literally a chapter where he shows how he regrets not having told Suae or met her one last time. I also believe ten years is quite a lot but we should always remember that these are stories, where everything is a tad bit more dramatic and complicated.

Nothing justifies suddenly cutting off contact for 10 years and then showing up acting as if nothing ever connected them and nothing happened. The fact that he now feels sorry doesn’t make up for leaving someone in limbo for 10 years. That guy is a red flag. Explaining away every bad behavior with trauma or a difficult situation is ridiculous.

And dohwa’s the best friend we all ever dreamt of, right? Also cutting off his friend for ten exact years. But don’t try and say that ‘he was the friend that got rejected’ cause you’ll fall in the same trap you set about ‘explaining away every bad behavior’.

This is the same thing beomjin did in Just twilight (don’t know if you read it). He left too, but because the author put a scene in where he tried to explain before leaving (not to the fl) he was never doubted. Or maybe it was because we could all pin it on the dude who never told the fl about it. Eunhyuk is in the same situation but he’s painted as the bad guy cause obviously we have to make one of the male leads a bitch to love the other, right?

It’s funny seeing people completely forget everything eunhyuk did in the past just because of this. I’m the first one who hates ghosting but knowing the characters after so many chapters I believe we could all agree on the fact that his choice probably came from a good place.
