4/5. The final battle was so anticlimactic and bland I was so disappointed. Everything was so simplistic and convenient for our MC. The worldbuilding also isn't fleshed out properly. Suddenly she's the only person who can call out the pure elemental?? And she won easily against a strong and powerful family with lots of noble support? Her spirit Jen is coincidentally very powerful and the only one of its kind?
The emperor only appeared when it's convenient to the plot and his only excuse is because "she's from that evil family and I love my son better bcs he looks like my dead wife anw but I won't let my daughter free bcs I'm selfish" really he didn't bring anything to the story.
If you strip out all the handsome faces, the story and writing is very lacking. MC is very bland and almost have no personality other than she loves Libertia so much. She's very mary sue bcs everyone loves her and she has no flaws, all of her plan is perfectly executed. That's why I didn't feel engaged with the extra stories bcs she feels very generic, although it made sense why she end up with Daniel since she has high affinity with spirit.
Also the story was wrapped up lazily. Somehow it was cleared that there were twins and MC conveniently changed her name to Alisha. How did everyone reacted to it? How did Libertia remembered by the public then? And what was it with the mage tower?? They appeared and then disappeared just as easily to make our MC win the battle in just 2 chapters.
Art is good but the execution is very lacking. It feels like the author first get the idea of "coughing up blood regularly so everyone feel sympathy for her" but don't know how to resolve it properly. The only thing I kinda like was the fact that the Raphaelis curse was caused by bad thoughts and rumor. I thought that was pretty neat.
