I get that he’s trying to seize the opportunity since E’s momentarily out of the picture (or that’s what he thinks it’s happening) but yk, if he wanted to he could’ve kept in contact even before.
Isn’t that a normal thing that if you’re friend rejects your feelings then obviously the atmosphere would be awkward so not having that happened dohwa chooses to do his own stuff? E was her boyfriend while dohwa was a man who got his feelings hurt. Sure E stans will say “he could’ve man up and continued to be her friend” BUT COME ON BRUH obviously that shit would be awkward as fuck.
Again, if he wanted to he would. Now’s not that different and less awkward than before. He’s still the one that got rejected (twice at the moment) no matter how much time passes.
