I remember reading this 2–3 years ago when it only had a few chapters, and I loved how beautiful the characters were. I love Kiel, but I also found the crown prince hot. Hehe
Yesterday, I decided to reread it from the start, and safe to say, I’m a bit disappointed. At this point, the FL is just too OP, solving every problem that comes up. It also gets annoying how she keeps insisting she doesn’t want to stand out, yet constantly puts herself in the spotlight. Although she and the crown prince look like a good pair, I can’t help but think their relationship feels like classic Stockholm syndrome. Imagine falling in love with the person who killed your family. She’s even afraid he might kill her, yet she still does everything for him. She didn’t even strongly refuse becoming the Empress. What a joke. Honestly, I wish she could have chosen Kiel or none at all and just gone back to Cloyan to lead her people.
This story had so much potential, but it feels wasted.
