I still can’t forget that Carcel was cheating on Ines while they were engaged. And the fact that he thought she loved him didn’t make him stop whoring around

You also need to keep in mind that Ines did act like she wasn't interested in him at all, after choosing him to be her fiancé for all those years, and while yes, that was very wrong of Carcel to cheat, it wasn't something he would do now after they've communicated and are close. Also Ines did encourage and want that to happen(since she just didn't want to marry the red head is all) thus the acting disinterested in him.

I think this is the case where a second chance is valid for a person. Especially since he turned his life around right after marriage and has not repeated his mistake since.

The whoring around was just rumors, sure he wasnt a virgin but he was no whore. he actually didnt think that she loved him since she ignored him and didnt care about him.

I'm sorry, but a cheater is a cheater. There is no justification for me. They were engaged. And on top of that, everyone knew he was cheating on her. It would have been enough to have a minimum of decency not to flaunt it publicly. Ines, or other women in these kinds of arranged marriages, could have had their reputation ruined or brought dishonor to their family even without sleeping with another man. And then he even picked a fight with her, saying that his infidelity didn’t hurt her.

A cheater is a cheater. They were engaged. Ines would have brought shame on her whole family if she had cheated on him with another man, not to mention doing it openly. And only she would have faced the consequences of infidelity, unlike him, whose affairs everyone knows about. Even though he’s the one cheating on her, she is still the one who suffers the consequences. Others mocked her, saying she wasn’t satisfying enough, which is why Carcel sleeps with other women. When Ines caught him cheating, he later came to pick a fight with her because she didn’t react the way he wanted

Ines already expected that would happen thats the reason he chose him in the first place, so that she can get a divorce and live a peaceful life, she wouldnt care less about carcel or what other people talked about her. She also would have hidden lovers as it was mentioned but again she doesnt care about that she just wants freesom from her past

Again, not justifying cheating but the situation here isn't just as simple as him just cheating just cause he felt like it. Ines chose him all those years ago, when they were kids as her fiance but then literally acted like he didn't exist, and it's not like he didn't put any efforts into the relationship either, ines is justified for making her choice towards freedom but she also does acknowledge that with that she also did bind carcel and so she lets him just continue on having affair and tries to make a deal with it, this is towards the early chapters.

What you're seeing here is from pov of ines, so you feel bad for her, since she had to go through so much and then carcel too acts like that. But Carcel towards the beginning is just a guy that got chosen as a partner yet was then left alone as unwanted for absolutely no reason. It's not like he knows why she's acting that way or remembers their past life and he certainly doesn't know her as a person, she could've very well been someone that was manipulative, from his pov without any memories or information.

Also Carcel wanted to get her attention so bad so probably why the flaunting but i don't remember if he actually did flaunt or it was just rumors going around about him sleeping around. Also i don't really remember the last part either, So I'm sorry about this, I'm not sure.

Again, i absolutely love ines and i absolutely will NOT blame her for what she did but it's also not completely carcels fault either, he didn't cheat on her with the knowledge of her loving him, he cheated on her because she acted like a complete stranger even though she chose him, he made efforts but she didn't reciprocate them. This isn't a normal situation so like i said, he is allowed a second chance to make things straight.

Good on you to try to explain but just the comment of the original person isn’t even worth debating. If they want to remain in the first 10 chapters, if they don’t understand the mindset of Ines and Carcel before marriage…that’s up to them. In fact, in my opinion, they can meditate on it day and night and it doesn’t matter because it’s just their opinion. It doesn’t affect Carcel and Ines in any way nor the story. My advice to them would be to simply move on to another story because Ines has NEVER blamed Carcel for his premarital lifestyle because she acknowledges her motives before marriage weren’t pure either. So OP can cherish her opinion on the Carcel but it changes NOTHING.
