theres so much rape at the beginning but its kind of written off as “medical intervention” since the bottom will like die if it doesn’t get taken care of… (literally so useless and could have been simply not been there imo) … but if you ignore that part their dynamic is kinda cute and theres even suprisingly a lot of consent going on bc ML stops with everything that the bottom doesnt like
The first time they had s*x, Jooeon definitely asked for Pilsang's permission and even told him to push him away if he didn't want it. The only thing Jooeon did without Pilsang's consent was the fingering—intended to help him and save his life which was in danger. In the context of the story, it might be seen as somewhat similar to the kissing or mouth-to-mouth resuscitation during CPR, where someone is helped without explicit approval in an emergency situation.
So far, apart from the twisted game to make Pilsang fall in love with him, Jooeon has genuinely been caring and gentle with Pilsang. He has also been listening to all his requests, such as not kissing during his heat and stopping the alarm, among other things.
I haven't forgotten, lol ! However, given the context, would you prefer it if he let him die?? The situation with the sianacin drug really shifts the perspective on everything.
That doesn't mean consent isn't important, but context matters. Comparing that to outright assault ignores the complexity of emergency in the plot versus premeditated actions.
So yeah, it’s a grey area, not a clear-cut case of assault. Sometimes, circumstances force actions that would otherwise be unacceptable, and understanding that nuance is crucial.
Yeah and you seem to be missing this nuance youre talking about? Im telling you that it’s a grey zone but how in the fuck does that justify the fact that the ML made him literally cry and beg to stop? Like are we hearing ourselves rn ? He could have done that with less assault and more “pragmatically” since we’re talking about understanding nuance. Also notice how i said that there was a lot of rape at the beginning, meaning that ML seems to grasp the concept of consent later on… im so tired of yall refusing to accept when rape is rape. I like this story but i hate the rape parts and you can have your own opinion about how you feel. What you cant do is claim that there was no rape at all be so for real rn
The CPR comparison was meant to put things into perspective, but I wouldn’t want to keep harping on about it too much, since the sianacin case is a fictional scenario within a fictional story.
And yes, treating him like a patient in need of help doesn’t justify crossing that line, but that’s essentially the theme of the story—about their developing love and jealousy as they are forced into sexual acts under the guise of a healing process and experimental purpose.
If this doesn’t sit well with you or if that ruffles your feathers, then you might want to take it up with the author or consider stopping following the story, if it bothers you that much.
Me; “i like this story but i dont like these particular elements of it” you: “it didnt happen and if it did it wasnt a big deal and if it was then you should stop reading and if you dont stop reading you should talk to the author and if you dont talk to the author you’re bothered and triggered” another lib owned *__* #endwokejoshisnow

I'm contemplating if I should give a chance or not. Is it toxic or dragging?? If if u give me a spoiler it's fine. I just want to if they have a good dynamic or not. I don't want a strange dynamic like the third couple from Stranger than friends.
