I agree that it could have been done better to show that it was a flashback but what I understood from putting it right before Lord Mugo comes to save him is that the Mugos didn't really "desire" anything either apart from eating the sacrifices and now they're becoming "greedy" because JaHeon awakened their desire for love and to be loved
Idk if it was just me but it feels like the story kinda jumped around pretty suddenly in the last chapter? Like it goes from the blood and gore to a happy flashback about last names without the typical black background that flashbacks get?
