The one I really dislike is the crown prince. He has no tact, no sense of wariness, and he’s just so irritating.
The Duke isn’t much better either. At first he kept flirting and acting all ambiguous, basically testing the waters around Riche. But I’m glad they’re an official couple now.
Honestly, this story is pretty mid because the FL does all the heavy lifting, and everyone around her seems unable to function without her. Only Diel actually feels useful.
And it’s not even some deeply political plot, so I wasn’t expecting them to drag out the missing daughter storyline for that long.
