As a person of color myself, I fundamentally disagree with the claim that this chapter was racist. In fact, I find the reflexive accusation of racism to be the truly divisive factor here. By immediately jumping to the most inflammatory conclusion, the accusers are the ones foregrounding race in a negative and scrutinizing way. It makes me question: Why are they so quick to project that interpretation?

I understand the frustration with limited representation. I'm also someone that gets excited if a character from my country appears in a manhwa but no character should be required to be a perfect role model just because they're the only one of their race. Expecting them to be flawless just because they're skin is a form of stereotyping in itself. Let the character have flaws like everyone else without turning their actions into a racial statement. :>

Every interpretation is a viewpoint, of course. My 'viewpoint' is based on my experience and my assessment of the situation that the action itself wasn't racist. The truly limited and divisive viewpoint, in my opinion, is the one that is so narrow it can only see malice and racism in every ambiguous situation. That's what I am pushing back against. :>
