yall are locked up in a fantasy of demanded stimulation. Like it’s a story it’s going to have development and build up, Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither do people change in a day. She does change and she makes sacrifices and even now she’s not weak she’s actively standing up for herself. But apparently you lack critical thinking and everything above.
I never said she didn’t. I dont have issue with that. She is doing great so far. But Maxi’s fragility drags on for dozens of chapters.
She’s fine the way she is for now. I do understand that.
I was talking about the pacing of the story. You can see that this is just like a slice of life. The plot hooks don’t get expanded immediately. War, politics, mages, her and his past, its like they're avoiding the topic.
They set up interesting story elements earlier, but then doesn’t follow through or develop them. Just her everyday life in anatol palace. Its been 100 chapter for Christ sake. I didn’t know it would drag on this far.
Maybe give us something else? Like riftan's pov about idk their constant council meeting, expedition, training, or when he went to capital? I was even looking forward to that, but they gave us nothing. Or maybe his pov about his wife??
I’ve invested so much time getting this far, but she’s still so fragile that it feels endless. The story isn’t even progressing. They keep skipping over important plot points that were mentioned earlier, and instead we just get her daily cycle of crying, trying her best, him being overbearing, leaving for work, arguing and then sex sex sex sex. Im already at chapter 95 and there’s zero progress besides romance.. I need development, drama, something—anything—new. The story never leaves the palace. Give me a break. This is going nowhere.
I didn’t sign up to read some “daily life of a housewife" type of crap. This is just a slice of life plot
