I haven’t read to the end of the novel, but I heard that somehow the pictures of him get leaked so he ends up being shunned and alone. Then they end up living together (?) but with no love involved between them. More like trauma bonding. But I don’t 100% know for certain

Not end up together, juyeon actually planned on throwing jk away after breaking him like he been thrown, but jk basically developed Stockholm syndrome and was afraid of being abandoned and cling to juyeon and cuz juyeon still had feeling like attachment to jk so he kept him as dog, their relationship not really one of love or anything

So basically it's just endless rape and some gang bangs.. (also not to forget: manipulation, abuse - mentally and physically, gossip, inhuman treatment..)
And uh after all that they make up in the hospital room and live together because jk can't live without him anymore... he basically turned jk into his plaything, his dog, like toxic yearner also...
Yeah the author had weird tastes ngl, but I couldn't stop reading it..

I wonder if I hadn't spoil this to myself and read the novel, how would I have felt cuz I know JK past with JY I can't sympathy with him, but I know for sure that I just don't like JY either way he not victim in my opinion, his mom told him not to associate with JK, he not only not listen to his parents but runaway to meet JK gang, he pretty much also part to blame

Not blaming just pointing out he wasn't that innocent kid who got intangled with JK against his well, he chased after jk first , jk was red flag since beginning, He should have listened to his mom

How can you say that you’re not blaming him and then follow that up with more victim-blaming rhetoric? Saying he should have listened to his mom is a statement that puts the responsibility for not getting raped on a fourteen year old boy. Why not just say “Jiwook shouldn’t have raped him”? Because the onus lies entirely on the rapist, not the victim. Would you agree if someone said “Jiwook shouldn’t have taken the drink, he was basically asking for it”?

I was actually rereading this Manga again cuz I forgot some the events and yeah jiwook shouldn't have took that drink, he have no problem making rape threats to people, he is violent and basically stupid so he have bad personality no wonder he attracted someone like juyeon, and in my opinion again juyeon stopped being victim once he did to jiwook what he did both them are trash, and 14yr juyeon wasn't at false for his rape but he basically also not good person to begin with that why I said they deserve each others

I still don't agree with the reasoning that Juyeon was a "bad person" at 14. There's a difference between acknowledging that someone who makes bad decisions is a child who probably doesn't know better and relieving someone who committed COCSA of their responsibility because they were a child when they did it. Both were children when the rape happened but there's a huge difference between hanging out with a bad crowd when you're a kid and raping someone when you're a kid.

I don't think you got what I wanted to say, juyeon was victim until he raped jiwook, juyeon at 14yr wasn't responsible for getting raped but he also made bad decisions of not listening to his mom and running away, I don't understand how jiwook didn't end up in jail, so I guess juyeon family didn't report him, so basically he didn't get any justice so the revenge might be justified but I just don't agree with juyeon, something definitely not right with him, cuz he went to the hospital where jiwook was in and when he learn that jiwook lost his memory his first thought was to start new with jiwook, he faked in head he wanted to start new with his rapist so yeah I don't believe he was totally victimized even at 14yr

He was a victim but then he wasn’t??? What does it matter if he wasn’t “totally victimized” in your opinion. That doesn’t mean he wanted or asked for what Jiwook did to him. I don’t think we’re ever going to agree by principle because I endorse Juyeon as a victim of child abuse. You do not. Additionally, the reason Jiwook didn’t go to jail is because he was a minor, and SK laws regarding juvenile delinquency are quite lenient. Especially in regards to rape and other sexually deviant behavior. In the novel he was caught because a janitor found Juyeon tied up in the bathroom and called the police. Jiwook got community service as a punishment and retaliated by spreading Juyeon’s CSEM pics and videos around. Now, Juyeon’s estranged father is rich and could’ve leveraged his connections to get justice for his son, but it’s implied in the novel that by the time he got back in contact with Juyeon, the trial had already ended so they couldn’t have Jiwook charged a second time.
