personally its not my favourite, but it is one of the most popular bl manhwas out there, a sureshot staple. it impacted the genre pretty damn hard too since i feel it was Jin who popularized the concept of power bottoms and intensified the craze for older bottoms which got that side of the market booming.
Oh i love Painter Behind the Curtain, it's also my overall top 5 bl, but i don't think it quite as famous as others tho

Sorry but I would have to disagree with you. When painter of the night and BJ alex was ongoing, official site had trouble keeping up with the amount of users reading at the same time. Readers here would camp out waiting for the new chap to be uploaded asking for spoilers. This would be full of topics regarding new chap. Not to mention after POTN, a lot of historical bls popped up. So yeah both had Genre impact, popularity and influence. So i'm genuinely curious, for readers now, what manhwas are considered popular?
I'd say it's bl, regardless if it's mutual or not

for example i saw someone mention stuff like jinx.. painter of the night.. bj alex which i dont really agree with because those are pretty infamous in my opinion.
