I love how agnes was blunt to her when she said "he's protectic a six yrs old" its kind of an insult. I hope maxi see that and get mad. She is standing up for herself but its kind of like different. She isn’t being direct, she's still lenient. I need her to tell him that exactly that what he is doing is suffocating.
I mean if you want Maxi to be angry more at Riftan I recommend you finish book 1 and jump into book 2 she is more of a feisty heroine.
Im into aggressive female lead or feisty. So maxi was a hard read for me. I got pissed at her many times but i understand her.
