In the beginning, the prince was so gentle and never wished any sort of violence upon blue snake (sorry I don’t remember names)…so wth am I reading rn?? I’m gonna just interpret that the prince truly loved snake in the beginning, but due to the curse, it drove him mad and obsessive. He lost his love for snake in the midst of his madness, instead replacing it with pure obsession. Because what do you mean you see your victim-ahem I mean lover fainted, covered with bruises that YOU MADE and go like “it’s all that other man’s fault >:(”
