Idk how you dk this... But it's clear that Alex hope is currently doing all this to protect his parents and Sandra, it's been cleared that all three of them are alive and obvly to protect someone they would know who they're protecting. Also the parents was shown , it's literally different characters

He’s not. His parents have been shown.

And even then, like you said, Alex seemed to have been a girl originally. So might be in disguise now or just able to switch genders.

Thats most definitely not true, or at least, it was not implied that way at all ( ̄∇ ̄")

Alex doesnt change genders, his human body does limit him in some ways and no he cannot just magically change his biology (at least wasn’t shown he could). He is a boy and born a boy but he likes feminine things and dressed as a typical girl would sometimes. Thats just him being fairy with no concept or human gender, not him changing genders…

Also how could he be his son? His son is dead and he never had another wife, plus Alex’s human parents were shown already

That he likes femine things? Look at his phone for example, he likes having cute charms on it and on flashback he is seen wearing typical girl clothes as kid. As fairy they also had long hair and as kid during recent flashback he had his long dark hair braided and he wore what looked like dresses. (Ch 77)

And that his human body limits his powers? I’m not sure if it’s mentioned in manwha but in novel he sometimes complains about it, even this blue haired guy that tried to kill Hunter Hong and Woo Hee-Jae, he adored monsters but because Alex chose to have human body the blue haired guy detested him instead because monster bodies and fairies in particular are more in tune with (elemental) magic. It’s why Alex can teleport to much father distances then humans ever thought was possible but his body does limit him, he could die if he teleports too far away because it wastes his energy suddenly.

No, I was just asking how do you know for sure what his gender is or that he dressed as girl just “because he likes feminine things”. My point is unless it’s been stated in the novel, we don’t know anything. All we know is he was originally a fairy. It makes more sense to assume he can switch genders than to assume he likes feminine things, especially not when the current Alex Noah doesn’t show a hint of that except for liking charms on his phone; that could also mean he’s actually a girl. Personally, when the MC first thought Alex Noah was a woman and was told he’s male on paper, I assumed his papers might have been falsified so he can do what he’s doing now undercover. Either that or he’s not limited to the perception of gender as we see it because he was most likely gendeess as a fairy.

Oh, I see what you mean. Alex is still human now despite his powers and experience with being a fairy so when he was born male, that’s what i accepted as the truth. Unless Alex outright says that he can change his gender at will, I consider him as male like the story established. Especially since he didn’t ever say he disliked being called male ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

There is very small chance that his papers has been falsified btw or else the guild leader would probably catch that. Plus his parents aren’t part of the arc and would have no reason to falsify his papers. They are just normal hunters in Australia. And his undercover work didn’t start until later like the flashback showed.
