I would honestly love to see what would happen if Dan was really sick and they just didn't have sex. Would he lose the match? Probably not. And not losing this match would likely teach him more than this sex ever will (though I'm hesitantly optimistic that they'll keep communicating and fixing things from now on). If they were to just sleep hugging each other or maybe even just sleepily rubbing against one another in a thing initiated by Dan and not Jakeyung, it that we're to happen and he still won I think that would be gold for his character development and plot progression. But, ah well, I think this may be good enough for now.
That’d be super interesting. Honestly though, I think it’s just like they say, something that he feels “has to be done” to do well. For me, before an exam for example, I have to choose a shirt a certain color, can’t be a dark color and I have to pray before too. So I get where’s he’s coming from but it’s honestly just mental readiness in a way.
