It's been a long time for me to read this again, so I read it from the beginning and like it's so obvious jo is the end game but the author want it to be mysterious so bad that's why the fandom keep on clashing due to author's 'neutral' attitude with the male lead but if you're focusing on the story and plot only, with your mind focusing on mc's feeling, behavior, and the way he got immediate attraction towards jo – small gesture like when his thoughts darken seeing jo light him up. I think once this end, people who's new to this manhwa, and read it for the first time until the end will say, "WTH the end game is so predictable, all that fighting in the fandom for what?" And in the latest chapter of ws, we see again things 'same old scenario' repeating for tj and Ian – it's in parallel of their past, it's ian decision to be swept up by taejoon's plan or to finally grow a backbone to not stuck in something he deemed as his "karma place" tj is the depiction of his drug addiction, yeah he's no longer a junkie, he replaced it with tj and sex. – and when he's with jo, the urge for that addiction disappear into something more of genuine independent interest without any influence.
