The plot started out promising and fairly „simple“ but now it’s all over the place, it reminds me of Riverdale istg; it keeps jumping back and forth, seemingly building up to something biiiiig, but nothing ever comes out of it, except Hawon suffering. I don’t like how the author tries to convey this „smart“ storytelling, when in reality I have the feeling even they themselves don’t know the path or end goal anymore. I had veeeeery small hopes to begin with for them to actually develop a meaningful and trusting relationship with each other… But boy, it’s even worse than what I thought I was prepared for. This relationship is nothing but toxic, Taeha is extremely manipulative and I don’t see ANY redeeming qualities, be it for Taeha, or for this relationship in general. I mean, where are we even going with this? I enjoy angst, mystery and a build up, but this? It‘s just torture, painful and not enjoyable to read. I feel nothing but sadness for Hawon (run boy, just run!) and nothing but disgust towards any other characters (except Jahan). And seeing how now after all what Hawon had to endure Taeha is trying to be all „romantic“‘and „gentle“ or whatever — it gives me the creeps.
Can’t we just pretend the past chapters were a bad fever dream and go back to a point in the plot where Hawon does not get constantly raped, manipulated, groomed and taken advantage of? /sigh/
