42 is three years after, so their kid must be two/three and we are seeing their dynamic, how Zigril is still head-over-heels with Kay and wants to do everything to keep him by his side.
41 is telling us that Kay may get pregnant again once he really loves Zigril, as the witch who killed herself was pregnant with the man she loved, so the kid lived even when she was dead and surrounded by dark magic, we may see that child somewhere in this season.
And Kay is hiding something from Zigril.

No i think chap 41 is him first getting pregnant cuz schuman got actually surprised, during that time remember how ml left mc at the palace probabaly to get another flower of aloysha which hes doing in.this chapter also in chap 41 hes bsing called the duke/prince and not the king which he is currently.

Yep, I don't know which part of the novel it was when they cleaned up Edor after they returned to the capital in a state of kay after eating the alosha flower and were unconscious. This is also connected to the zigril founded kay in the water channel hole. which also means 41 happened before Kay had children, and zigril were on a mission to find another flower for the emperor, but were too late or something.
