Ore Edwin makes Kyon mutate, so Lucaon either has to kill ore be killed. Which would either make Lucaon dead ore make him mutate out of grief for killing Kyon.

Yeah, but luckily the author said that both Kyon and Lucaon are going to make it to the end, though she said that readers will have different opinions about the ending...so i think that both of them are going to suffer in some way, but none of them will die (ps. Sorry if my english is bad ':D )
