I guess his attitude has to do with how he was raised. I saw a bit of the next chapter and it seems thats how the family behave; there was not love in that family.

well damn. to add to the situation right now, sure. this came over him, BUT STILL its A BABY. not even born, probably not even 3 months in, not even the slightest sympathy, but would trade his family for money. before, sure we've kinda over looked it since he had a reason. but now, a child's involved, his personality is truely shit at the moment.
