Say it louder for the people in the back. It's so true! As well as the fact that these stories....the characters....are not real. They are fictional. Why waste your anger and negativity towards something that's (fake) but with a real world stigma? If people can't get over it, maybe Yaoi/BL Manga isn't the genre for them.
Because real world stigma influences stories like these? The manhwa itself being fiction doesn't change the fact that people's understanding and interpretation of certain scenes can differ. "Get over it" is a lazy thing to say.
I not telling you to get over, I'm telling you to prepare yourself. you cant tell me this is the first time you seen rape in yaoi, and if some how it is then I'm sorry it's a popular trend in this genre. I have had this argument so many times before about how unrealistic and unflattering yaoi presents gay relationships and why is rape such a popular plot device. But I feel that this story is getting a bad rep for no reason, it's not first time we seen rape and wont be the last plus it gets addressed an explained later, and how many times does that happen, I just want for people to relax in the comment section and stop acting like it's the worse thing that's ever been done in a YAOI story.

Also I'm sure some of you guys love some other stories that have some form of rape in it, I want you to go scream in the comment section about how fucked that one was too, for those who read Killing stalking, BJ alex,You're My Loveprize In Viewfinder ,otoshiana ni Hamerarete, Hidoku Shinaide and even A man like you, cause the uke was drunk the first time right and enjoy thoes stories, go into does comment section and say the exact same things you been saying here beucse some people who read those stories saw past the rape and other stuff and still enjoyed the story.
Rape comments already exist in those said manga you mentioned. You're making a big assumption that because people mention the rape it means they don't like the entire manga?? Is that what you think every time someone mentions a flaw? That the flaw equates to hating everything about the plot? Mentioning rape is just that. It's always the responses that cause what would have been an opinion on the rape to turn into a full blown argument on rights to comment ones opinion.
For the record, this story is getting bad rep because instead of letting people comment what they dislike, some people want to tell them to shut up, all because "fiction". Rape is not new, but just because it's common doesn't mean you get to tell others to not feel a certain way after reading it.
Fiction =/= everything you dislike should be ignored.
Just as you want to mention how cute it will become, someone else wants to mention he had been raped. Difference in topics but both are still someone's thoughts.
I personally am not telling anyone to shut up or not to Express their opinion I'm just saying its gets exhausting to see comments about it over and over just like how it gets exhausting seeing rape use as a plot device, but I'm not going to demand those comments to stop, this is the internet no one has that kinda power. The rape comments are giving the story a bad rep, it may not be the only factor but its effecting if people read the story or not. I know the first thing I do before I start a new manga is check out the comments and it's one thing to warn someone about it, but I feel were kinda past that.... and I dont appreciate you assuming that I'm able just brush off the rape just cause I'm mentally prepared for it doesn't mean it doesn't effect me or that it doesn't upset me.
I apologize for assuming. However, if what you say in the last sentence there is true, then you should understand why someone would comment about it. And exhausting as it may for you to re-read it over and over again, people will continue to comment, especially new readers who might be upset by it. You may not be directly telling someone to not voice their opinion, but it is indirectly saying that when you say it's exhausting to read about it. Right now with the present chapters, we see rape. I have seen many comment on the fact that it will be explained later why it is not rape. I think that is great and maybe once it is explained, the comments will stop. But right now with the given chapters, readers are free to continue talking about it.
It's cool and I think when we can has a clam discussion like this it's fine but there are some people on both side of the argument being straight up rude to each other, but I get it were only 17 chapters in so people are going to react to what they see now it's normal and rape is such a touchy topic of course people will be upset about it and honestly I think it's the day when we see rape in a manga and we dont get upset ,that's when well seriously have a problem.

I think the reason people are so angry about the rape is becusse they weren't expecting it, I think people came into this manga think fluff and fluff and cute baby shit so when the rape happened it caught people by surprise they weren't mentally prepared for it. Let's be honest the yaoi genre is not a great representation of gay relationships and I think most of us has been reading this stuff long enough to beware of that and let's not even pretend this is the most fucked rape scene we've come across. Take BJ Alex for example Alex is a straight up dick, his face even screams hot asshole so when he did something fucked up to DG I wasn't shocked, I was pissed but I already made my peace that Alex was cable of something this shitty, I was mentally prepared for the worse. We've seen it so many times something terrible happens but they move on from it or dont even address it and are main guys get there happy ever after or whatever. About Hosik's story I read it before it was ever translated and I was so happy when it was, reading it in English did change my opinion on some stuff. Things I thought were super cute actually turned out to be not as cute but I do think it's worth the read, especially if you like mpreg. It's a cute story especially when we get into the later chapters so I think we all should relax and enjoy. Because at the end of the day we all known rape is wrong, I'm pretty sure that even people who commit rape know it's wrong they just dont give a shit but that's an argument for another time, anyway this isn't the worse we've seen and it sadly probably wont be that last so can we relax please. I think some people are tired that they have to keep having moral discussions on the comment section when all they really want to do is find other people to fangirl with.
