I think had a lot of abuse from his superiors before sangwoo saved him and when you see sangwoo come in is where he helps him but i could be wrong
I think Sangwoo saved him there from their first rape attempt, Bum looked really shocked when it happend, while in this chapter's panels, it seemed to have been going for a while.
I thought Sangwoo stopped the rape attempt on Bum in the military so that it never happend again, but apparently, Bum was still raped and forced to do things there.
