This is probably it but why try to force something he doesn't want to do or feel like doing? he clearly respect his stepfather by calling him uncle ben, but trying to force him to call the guy father is too much.... it frustaste me so much when I read this kind of thing in a story (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
It's something that happens a lot in real life I guess. My partner was left having to work his ass off living in a tiny house with no phone/internet while his younger half sisters live in a big house, got laptops, rabbits, annually European tours, and everything other they want. An Offspring that belongs to who you currently love is usually preferred. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
