Gotta agree completely. If rape has to be put in the story at least treat it as the serious awful thing it is irl
With acceptable responses towards rape claims and rape victims, and the consequences that rapists deserve to suffer.
The thing about "it's just fiction" is... I wanna read a good or at least entertaining story... if I'm only sitting here getting frustrated over how dumb it is and all... it's neither of those...
and "that it's a fiction" doesn't make bad things like rape any different than what it is... I don't MIND seeing rape in fiction... I just don't want it to be portrait as a good thing or romantic or some shit!
This manga had such a huuuge potential in the first few pages... great art style, too and the it turned into one of these cliche super bad yaois that keep popping out of every corner
Now I made an account here just to vent all this frustration that built up over all the shitty stories I see lately.. gosh
man, you just know that the younger guy is eventually going to "fall in love" with the guy who raped him n dragged him into a position of dependency just bc that's how these yaoi work. n yknow what it is? thats bad n im getting really tired of seeing this stuff all the time. rape isn't a cute plot device to get people together that's just lazy writing. and miss me with that "it's just fiction" yea i know it is doesnt mean i have to enjoy seeing it romanticised all the time
