Fever could actually be very dangerous on children. Temperature is a sensitive thing, too high and the child could end up with seizure, too low and it vould meds with their heart wave. He could also have another symptoms that accompanies fever like diarrhea, and sweat a lot due to fever. The IV would make sense as it could replace water lost from his body. There are also antipyretics that could be given from IV has the child refuse or unable to eat. Could be due to losing consiousness or energy
This is only the theory though, lmao.
Also no, not every eastern person actively visits the hospital. Depends on which east you were talking about ig, lmao. My country is the type that wont go to see a doctor unless they feel bad enough. So, to us, this kind of treatment could also be seen as overkill, lmao.
lmao thank you all for the explanations but what i meant to say was...
the boy might be the reason that they end up together and he might be the reason they drift apart, because it seems that the ml puts this boy before everything else and there is clearly a story behind that. also let's hope that some chick doesn't show up later on and says she's the mother or something. Well i clearly forgot that main part...
ok so what i meant to say let's hope that the kid does not become the Huge problem in their relationship, or let's hope he doesn't develop a sickness and stuff.
FLIP OMG I SERIOUSLY HATE EXPLAINING THINGS BECAUSE I AIN'T DARN A BIT GOOD AT THIS.
i guess to me it just seemed really strange? whenever i or kids around me were sick when i was younger they just stayed at home for a few days, maybe that's why fevers don't seem really dangerous to me. if it were really bad they'd go see the local doctor first. i think dutch people don't really go to hospitals or even doctors much unless they feel it's really bad
IVs are a thing now to replenish nutrients etc. Some do it even for simple colds. Expensive but IVs replenish lost nutrients immediately and boost immunity, abating the illness faster. I guess it's only a thing in Asia? Probably not. Nonetheless, it's an expensive treatment for a simple illness so only the rich do this.

im sorry did they just wheel off the little kid to a hospital and stick an iv in his arm,,,, for a fever?? wild. id say he's got some heavier thing going on that would make any change in condition worrisome but then the director also told her to go to a hospital even tho she only like. felt dizzy for a second. try n sweat it out first lmao
