Not the mangaka but rather the audience. Most mangakas try to please Japanese Fujos (or in this case korean) so in the short amount of time that they are given they insert as many popular stereotypes as needed in order to satisfy the audience. Nothing to do. We international fans are not the targer audience after all.

As a gay person I find it so weird how yall determine on who’s the uke or seme based on stereotypes lol it’s kinda stupid but it’s also the fault of many mangakas for always creating cliche uke and semes. Sighh
