Okay, something has been bothering me since chapter 2 came out (spoilers):
The earl of Mossahaire mentioned the first and second princes and their long hair that signified their closeness to the king, but continues to say that in the end the only surviving prince was Wolfgang. In chapter 34, Wolfgang makes the decision to spare the other princes' (the 2nd and 3rd) lives, as they didn't even have a proper military force to fight him because they were disbanded by the previous king. We know that the 1st prince was killed by the king, and that Delly died too, but what about the 2nd and 3rd princes? Did they also die? How? By natural causes? Were they murdered? Or when Mossahaire said "the only one who survived was the fourth prince", did they mean that in terms of royalty, as in "only the fourth prince Wolfgang was able to succeed the throne, and the other princes had to forfeit their royal titles"? I am so confused.
I think the translation means “survive the coup d’etat“, not as in life and death matter. It’s translated from Spanish so some meaning may be lost Pidapipo
