i did a personal translation for a friends and basically the tan guy did practically assault (sexually at first and then physically when he was rejected) the mc which landed the mc in the hospital and spoken to by the police when they were looking for evidence that he committed a crime also a reason why the mc had to relocate and start his senior year again. your intuition is very good !

Not after seeing the main character get so upset that he puked after that kiss. Wouldn't be surprised (cuz it is yaoi) if the MC was sexually assaulted by that guy and for once a writer choose to
show the negative effects of such treatment.
