I wondered that to since he uses space magic. But I'm thinking thats not it. really high ranked magicians have that ability its rare though. I think hes just highy gifted and probably really important to the kingdom. I cant wait to find out who he really is. If your right that would be even more interesting.
If he was that important to the kingdom and was from that world couldn't they use that against him to control him? Now if he's from another world, then he would have no loyalty so they couldn't tie him down to a single country. Maybe I'm thinking too hard though.
i feel like Kaido is from another world and we are seeing it from Carol's view rather than the OP-ed character that we tend to see in other isekai mangas ( OP character is Kaido, by the way, if no one understood)
and I think it's great! since we get to see how amazing other characters, like Carol, are. also, since she's the MC of this manga. Plus it's kinda boring or overly repeated when people use MC's who are OP, since there's so little to build up when every enemy is defeated very easily.
or maybe i'm just reading too much isekais lately... HAHAHA oh well
