I too wouldn't mind so much if it only happened when others are really out of line. For example when he was referring to the Bo city incident in such a rude manner (ch. 230). Also all he ever thinks about is money or valueable goods. I don't mind that he gets rewarded for his deeds but if he starts of each and every time with asking for a reward before he actually does something it becomes annoying
If you don't like this then don't try reading the light novel. I tried reading it but had to stop because 99% of the characters were arrogant, greedy, entitled assholes. I need at least one semi likeable character.
Absolutely I tried reading the light novel & it got on my nerves .mc is a serious skirt chaser ,he runs after every beautiful girl he see plus I am not comfortable with the fact how he sexually looks at his step sister xan xia plus toching stuffs at the same time claiming Mu Ning Xue to be his too ..thanks heaven that she is not much of a pushover & docile like can xia

I think you shouldn't read the lastest chapter of the lightnovel because after the incident in Ancient City, his step sister got selected as an exchange student abroad for this famous healer school for 2 years I think, the teacher didn't tell him in advance because it's basically once in a lifetime chance and believed she could persuade him in the end. But Mo Fan made a fuss, raging to the airport to stop the flight, arrogantly picking a fight with the exchange student's teacher before finally agreeing with 7 days holiday with Xinxia in exchange.
And he even tried to do "it" with her in those days.
I was beyond speechless.
Well, for me I think I still could tolerant those part because he came from financially poor holdhouse while being a magician costs millions of money.
And the fact that he could not afford being in the spotlight before he could protect himself and his important people by being an op magician since he had basically made an enemy of Black Vatican. And there were a lot of people that probably trying to take advantage of him.
The part I can't take the most is when he is being arrogant or being a skirtchaser.
Honestly I'm really sick of that-
I don't like the MC's attitude. He's arrogant and calls people "fatty". He knows what it's like to be looked down on so he should treat people nicely.
