I feel like she would have been the "mean thwarted girl" character even if Gyul was a girl. Now she can claim it is because they are wrong because they are both guys. If Gyul was a girl I bet she would have been that character who bullied the girl she lost out to because she feels like she was the only choice. She has had that vibe every time she has shown up in the story. She never thought that Hyunho would possibly like someone else as long as she was around. Now she is angry because not only did he choose someone else, he also chose a man which is "wrong."
i get it that she may be hurt bc she likes hyunho. That’s fine, it hurts when someone you like, likes someone else BUT this is just outright homophobia, man, she wouldnt react this way if hyunho has a GIRLfriend right. She’d probably back tf off. but since Gyul is a dude, why not scare the couple that u’ll out them right?????
